About me:
Now, this part is a lose lose situation. If I say I'm not all that and a bag of chips, I'm a negative person with no self confidence. But, if I say I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread, I'm arrogant and self obsorbed. So I won't overthink this and just say the basics. I'm somewhat cute, somewhat sweet, somewhat funny, (whos on first!) somewhat of a family girl, and somewhat of a bookworm country bumpkin.
I'm abit old fashioned. I love old houses, and period books and movies. One of my dreams is to go to new york and see a broadway play or musical. I always try to be cheerful and upbeat, not always easy when your working at 5am. There's a story there, trust me!) I would love to find a place to live where I can finally have a dog or cat of my own.
I can't pretend to be someone that I'm not, when I want to leave a party I leave. When I don't want to hang out with my friends I don't. I can't play social games.
My idea of fun may not be interesting. But on my days off, I love to go to starbuck, sit in one of the comfy chairs with a good book and just read for hours. I also love shopping ( big surprise there) Sometimes me and my friends like to go to the local pub and sing kareokee. I love going to see plays when they are on and I can afford it. I also like going to movies by myself, some movies you have to see alone.
I would love to find someone who shares my love of books, including the classics. I am a big lover of historical fiction and sherlock holmes. But I also love books like the historian by Elizabeth Kostova. By the way, who knew that The Odyssey was funny?! You have to look really hard, but some dialogs in there are pretty hilarious.
I also love to get out in the country when I get the chance. I lived in the country for the first 12 years of my life. I had the horses, the dogs, the cat, and the freedom to scream at the top of my lungs and I never wore shoes if I could help it. I may seem urbanized, but I have no problem getting my hands dirty when the occasion calls for it. One of my favorite memories is my friend's brothers hitching the sleds to the back of the quad, and just going as fast as they could go.
My Interests & Hobbies:
movies, books, coffee, coffee, spending time with my family and friends.
I am looking for:
Someone who doesn't need me to complete them, who isn't dating just because they hate being alone. I have loved being single, and will only date people that I really feel a connection with. I would love to find someone I can just have random conversations with, the ones where you can start talking about movies, and somehow end with talking about religion or cows. He must love kids, my nieces and nephews are my life. I would like a man who I can go camping with and have picnics in the park. I want someone who will let me be my own person, and not smother me. He must have a great sense of humor, an understanding and appreciation of british humor is a bonus. Other than that, all I want is a straightforward, kind and honest man. I hope you're out there!
